Meet Diana
"Life is not about finding yourself. It is about creating yourself."
George Bernard Shaw.
My name is Diana Bustos and I feel very grateful to be able to dedicate my life work to supporting others' growth and creating changes that will positively influence their lives.
As far back as I can remember, I always had a deep yearning to help others but never knew exactly how to do so. However, some years ago, I went through a very hard and dark time in my life. I did everything I could to help myself but was still unable to release my problems though I tried everything I could. I needed outside help, support and guidance and had searched for this but changes never remained permanent so I began to doubt I was ever going to get better and felt more and more isolated and desperate. Thankfully, I finally found everything I needed and more when I hired a personal performance coach who used EFT to eradicate my old limiting beliefs which were responsible for overwhelming anxiety and fears. These beliefs had me feeling like a prisoner and living a life from a place of fear. In addition, I was able to release old traumas that had been burdening me as if they had happened just yesterday - such as my father's sudden death. I was so dumbfounded by how much grief and guilt I was carrying around even though I had "worked" on these emotions with traditional cognitive therapies and techniques like hypnosis and EMDR.
Going through these difficult times allowed me to finally reflect on my desire to help others. I finally realized that my deep desire to help others and listen effortlessly while being supportive and encouraging was my talent. This had always come easy to me and I loved doing it and thus mistakenly imagined everyone else felt the same way. A whole new world opened up for me when I realized through Personal Performance Coaching and the use of EFT that I could use my life to finally inspire others to live a more fulfilling life just as had been done for me when I was in such a frightening place.
As I have found my personal life experiences have taught me more than any university could or would ever, I consider myself a student of life. I believe this is the knowledge that can dramatically affect and change your life. I am very inspired by the teachings of Dr. Wayne Dyer, Debbie Ford, Louise Hay, Abraham Hicks, Janet Attwood's "The Passion Test", and Neale Donald Walsh among others. Before going into this gratifying line of work, I received my undergraduate degree in Applied Management with Kaplan University. Currently, I am pursuing a Masters Degree in Holistic Health with the American Institute of Holistic Theology. In addition, I am finishing course work with the International Coaching Academy to enable me to receive my certification as a life coach (this is more of a personal goal since it is not a requirement in order to practice). I have received my EFT-CC and EFT-ADV certificates. I have successfully worked on a myriad of issues with clients located as far as New Zealand. I have studied all of the instructional videos provided by Gary Craig, the creator of EFT. I was fortunate enough to partake in the EFT Master Conference in 2007 in which Gary Craig himself was a presenter.
I currently run two support groups for those afflicted with panic attacks, social anxiety, and agoraphobia. I host EFT workshops of different subjects such as releasing cravings and addictions. I am also leading a weekly EFT tapping circle to bring my local community together to learn EFT and release negative blocks, emotions and traumas in an environment where they feel safe to do so.
